The Mid Murray Council recently called for expressions of interest from organisations wishing to utilise the premises of the former Mannum Primary School building (the old Mannum School).

The Old Mannum School Steering Committee have made a submission expressing interest not only in the old building, but also the retention of the whole old school site for a diverse range of communal uses.

With the aim of stimulating discussion and vision, the committee endorsed a concept plan encompassing the whole site previously occupied by the Mannum Primary School.  As from the 1st October, this plan will be on display in the glass cabinet of the old Mannum Institute.  All members of the community are encouraged to view and comment on the plan. 

We especially hope that our young people provide feedback on how they see the future of the site.
